I have been a resident of Tahlequah for thirty years, having come to Tahlequah to begin my pursuit of a degree from Northeastern State University. I graduated from NSU with a bachelor's degree in Tourism Management and a master's degree in College Teaching with an emphasis in Student Personnel Services. I have been an employee of NSU for twenty-six years working in the offices of Student Financial Services, Student Affairs,  Transfer Student Coordinator with the First-Year Experience Office and effective January 2009 I was named the Director of Transfer and Parent Programs.  I will also be involved in the real estate profession in addition to my current position with the university.

As loyal supporter of the NSU RiverHawks athletic teams, I am a life-time member of the NSU Alumni Association. I also serve as a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Tahlequah. 

Living in Tahlequah is wonderful, I am proud to call it home. I appreciate the community atmosphere and the spirit of the residents of Tahlequah and Cherokee County. I love to walk down the street and greet others by name.
